The CVFOA School Liaison program was first instituted in the early 90’s as a means of building a positive rapport with the schools we serve, as well is educate them on rule changes. One veteran official is assigned as the liaison to each school. The Liaison Program was such a huge success that the VHSL adopted it as a mandatory practice for all Virginia football officials associations.
